I want my work to trigger your imagination. A lot of my inspiration comes from vintage comic books and animations. There is an aesthetic there which i love and that feels universal. Putting illustrations on a three-dimensional canvas adds movement to the illustrations since you have to move around the object to get the whole picture. I work a lot with bright and clear colors which gives the vases an almost comical feeling. But maybe the pitch-black shadows is the most important thing in my expression. That's where the drama gets in.
